Stop Making Excuse for Unacceptable Behavior

“Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for admiration and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of ultra confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that’s vulnerable to the slightest criticism.” – Mayo Clinic, 2016

Basically it’s a self induced psychological thought process of highly insecure internal disfunction. It is a behavior that can be corrected by the individual whenever they choose. Therefore it is not a mental condition or disorder at all. It is life choices. Anyone can choose to correct an unhealthy, unproductive, negative, destructive behavior.

“Malignant narcissism is a psychological syndrome comprised as an extreme mix of narcissism, antisocial personality disorder, and aggression and sadism. Often grandiose, and always ready to raise hostility levels, the malignant narcissist undermines organisations they are involved in, as well dehumanising people.” – Mayo Clinic

Again, choices not actual clinical disorders as some want to diagnose the behavior creating ilegitimate excuses for why it’s okay for someone to behave and speak a certain way to others. I perceptually thinks it’s an unacceptable diagnosis and excuse for allowing people like this to mistreat others with their poor choices and actually get away with it when the issues need to be directly hit and the person(s) put in their place for it.

Why am I addressing these types of behaviors in society? 1) I used to misbehave in such a socially unacceptable way, and 2) I have experienced byway of my karma first hand someone who is by far worse then I was when I behaved this way and made these types of choices. So, I am addressing and discussing it with any intent for the dialogue to help someone else correct themselves so they can live a more peaceful and fulfilling life as I now do.
